Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing ceases to apply. If you assert a justified request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be erased, provided we have no other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, erasure will take place after these reasons cease to apply.
General information on the legal basis of data processing on this website
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, provided that special categories of data are processed pursuant to Art. 9(1) GDPR. In the event of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. Recipients of personal data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external bodies. We only pass on personal data to external bodies if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using data processors, we only pass on personal data of our customers on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint controllership, an agreement on joint processing is concluded.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that has already been given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR).
WHERE YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint shall be without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data, which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
You have the right at any time, within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, to free-of-charge information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to the rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this, as well as on any other questions relating to personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally require time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests against ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests override the other, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
Where you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data may – with the exception of storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from „http://“ to „https://“ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
4. Data collection on this website
Biscuits
Our website uses so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser carries out an automatic deletion.
Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required for the electronic communication process, for the provision of certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG); the consent can be revoked at any time.
You can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Should further cookies and services be used on this website, you can find this in this privacy policy.

The collected data will be stored until you ask us to delete it, delete the Borlabs cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Details on data processing by Borlabs Cookie can be found at https://de.borlabs.io/kb/welche-daten-speichert-borlabs-cookie/.
The Borlabs Cookie consent technology is deployed to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Server request time
- IP address
These data will not be merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of their website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent may be revoked at any time.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiry by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not pass on these data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. 5. Analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics allows the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In the process, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data is assigned to the user's respective terminal device. No assignment to a user ID takes place.
Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. In addition, Google Analytics uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected datasets and employs machine learning technologies in data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. The consent may be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://business.safety.google/adscontrollerterms/sccs/.
The company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the US designed to ensure compliance with European data protection standards when processing data in the US. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
IP anonymisation
Google Analytics IP anonymisation is enabled. This means your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.
Browser plugin
You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
