The cover sheet
The cover page is optional, but it makes a good first impression. It neatly bundles your contact details, a friendly photo, and the position you are applying for, all on one page.

The CV
The CV is the core. Presented in a tabular, gap-free, and up-to-date format, it shows at a glance who you are and what you can do, usually starting with the most recent information.

The cover letter
In the cover letter, you explain on one page why this particular job and this particular company are right for you. Personal, specific, and without text modules from the internet.

The job interview
Find out about the operation.
Prepare your documents and think of answers to typical questions.

With so many options, it's easy to lose track. But that's not a problem. Let us help!
Drei Dinge braucht jede Bewerbung: Anschreiben, Lebenslauf und deine letzten Schulzeugnisse. Dazu kommen Bescheinigungen von Praktika oder Nebenjobs, falls du welche hast. Das Deckblatt ist freiwillig, es macht deine Mappe aber aufgeräumter und einen Tick professioneller. Wichtig ist am Ende weniger die Menge als die Sorgfalt: lieber wenige Seiten ohne Fehler als ein dicker Stapel mit Tippfehlern.
Pflicht ist es nicht – kein Betrieb darf ein Foto verlangen. Trotzdem gehört es in Deutschland für viele noch dazu und kann ein Pluspunkt sein, wenn es freundlich und professionell wirkt. Also: kein Selfie aus dem Urlaub, sondern ein Foto vom Fotografen, mit ordentlichem Oberteil und einem Lächeln. Wenn du dich ohne Foto wohler fühlst, ist das genauso in Ordnung.
Gepflegt und passend zum Beruf: Das ist die ganze Formel. Für die Werkstatt musst du nicht im Anzug erscheinen, fürs Büro reicht eine ordentliche Hose mit Hemd oder Bluse. Frisch gewaschen, keine Jogginghose, Handy aus: Damit zeigst du, dass dir der Termin wichtig ist. Im Zweifel lieber einen Tick schicker als zu lässig.
Erstmal: Das passiert allen, wirklich allen. Eine Absage heißt nicht, dass du nichts kannst – oft war der Platz einfach schon vergeben oder jemand hatte ein Praktikum im Betrieb.
